Welcome to the Internet home of the Triad Z Club. We are a non-profit organization focused primarily on the
enjoyment of the Z Car, Datsun 510 and Roadster and the Infiniti G35 Coupe. We are based in Greensboro,
Winston-Salem, High Point and surrounding areas of the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. Triad Z is
open to anyone who is interested in these cars or any other Datsun/Nissan product. For more information

May 8, 2008: Home, Classifieds and Events Pages Updated

Note we have added several car shows being held in the Triad area.
Although the cars shown are predominantly American and hot rods these events are
great fun for car lovers. Some Triad Z Club members went to the October Pilot Mountain Cruise-In.
Over 400 classic cars, 5000 people. We will try to organize a meeting time at Modern Nissan
for a caravan to the Pilot Mountain events.

New Magazine for Owners of Classic Japanese Cars

Bill Fant wrote on the Bluebirds List on April 21: "The premiere issue of Japanese Nostalgic Car arrived today, and it's
pretty impressive for a new magazine. Nissan features include a multi-page cover story on the Hiraishi brothers' 510 and Z
and the first part of a Skyline history.

As we've seen before, these things usually die in the "big idea" stage before ink ever hits paper. A 10 buck subscription
might help keep them around for a while".

2008 ZCCA Convention
As noted on our events page, the Z Association of Cleveland is hosting this year's ZCCA Convention.

Driver's License Changes in NC
Starting July 1st, 2008 it will take much longer to receive your new NC driver's license due to the Patriot Act.
Your new license will be mailed to you; it could take up to one month. If the new license is lost or stolen from
your mailbox it could take up to another month and a second fee. You can renew up to 6 months ahead of your

Amelia Islands Concours d'Elegance!
Trevor and Blake travelled to the Amelia Island Concours Mar 7-9 to take in the sights and sounds.
This is a first class event held for the past 13 years. This year highlighted the cars and stars of the Trans-Am
series 1966-1972. Peter and Gayle Brock, John Morton and Sylvia Wilkinson attended. The BRE #46 510 and the
Bob Sharp #75 510 of Paul Newman were there with many other cars. There will be a brief article and pictures
in the next issue of Nissan Sport Magazine and on www.nissansportmag.com.


PROJECT LS1 280Z V8
Members Scott and Ryan Moore continue work on conversion of their 1976 280Z to a LS1 engine with
a T56 6-speed transmission. Their web site thoroughly documents the hard work and is a great resource
for anybody contemplating a project of this magnitude. There are several links to helpful instructions.
Knowing the quality of the work done by Triad Z Club members Mark Ulrich and Roddy Sugg of
Speed Design, this will be a sweet ride.

BRE Launches its new website!
Peter and Gayle Brock launched the new Brock Racing Enterprises website in December 2007. This site
showcases a great deal of Peter's history as a designer, racer, photographer, writer and more. There
are dozens of photograhs of cars Peter has been involved with over the past 48 years - high quality
prints are for sale. Of importance to Z and 510 owners, many historical BRE photos can be purchased.
